Where are you traveling from and what dates are you looking at? Those are the major factors in determining the price.

Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline, Hotwire, you name it doesn’t have “cheap” flights. Sure they may be cheaper than if you bought it directly from the airlines but not much.
If you want the real deal, contact a travel agent and ask if they have airfare consolidator prices. If they don’t, keep looking for a travel agent that does.
Airfare consolidation prices doesn’t have anything to do with red eye flights.
They are way CHEAPER than those internet travel sites.
For lodging, I recommend checking out private bed and breakfast home on Craigslist.com
These are home owners looking for guests to rent out their guest rooms. They also provide breakfast. So you are getting a great deal for cheap.

(contact the owners and give the dates on when you are planning to stay. Go with you intuition as well!)
*Do not use hotels in Hawaii because they are very expensive. Even if you used a travel agent to book it. Do not even use internet travel sites to look for cheap hotels because they don’t have it.

i use yahoo fair chase.. It gives you the price on all the airlines that fly to hawaii from the cheapest to the most expensive..
