Travel Sizes of Things for air travel?

adobeprincess asked:

Well I have to go to a wedding I may fly does anyone have some stites where I can purchase travel sizes of items? I am not sure they are going to like my own bottles of things. Is it okay to take our own bottles in a checked bag? Will the airline allow labeled bottles in a checked bag? That is if we use travel bottles and put our own shampoo in them will they get upset?

Where can I get stuff in travel sizes?
PS I am going to Reno. What stores do they have there? Any one live there or been there?
Problem some of this stuff is expensive and for acne. How can I deal with that? I already called the company and they do not make travel size. Some places mail stuff to the destination, they do not make travel size. My acne will go out of control in this little time. Shampoo I can buy when I get there, but not acne stuff.
If I fill my own bottles and check the luggage will that pass these days? I do not want to carry on. I just need it there.
I will label it all and then if they toss it I will not lose hundreds of dollars. I will just lose a few.

Wal-Mart has a whole section in the beauty dept of travel size shampoos and conditioners and shaving creams and whatnot. I don’t know about the airport authorities.

You can put stuff in your checked luggage but i don’t think they are allowing liquid stuff in a carry on bag still…as for travel size stuff, stores like wal-mart, target, and bed bath and beyond have that stuff…you don’t need to go online…or you can buy stuff when you get to the wedding site and toss it before flying home if you are worried about taking it on the plane

trust me whatever bottles you try to take on board in your carry on will be discarded. Make no bones about it. Go to k mart and pick up small plastic bottles and fill them with your bathroom solutions and put them in your checked luggage. they made me even throw awy maple syrup from the Maine airport.

You are fine putting the medicines in your checked luggage, it is only the carry-on luggage that is banned from liquids and gels.

Most large drugstores and some supermarkets, and big stores like Target and Wal-Mart have racks of travel-size health & beauty items. They will also carry small bottles you can transfer your stuff into if you have big bottles at home.
