Does anyone have any US Airways dividend miles that they don’t plan on using and could share with me?

Keep in mind that you are also asking that person to pay the cost of sharing those miles, since US Airways charges a fee for that privilege. In addition to giving you the miles (you’d have to receive 5,000, which is the minimum that may be transferred), that person would also pay a fee of $175 on your behalf, according to the link below. (Miles cost three cents apiece to transfer, plus a $25 processing fee.)
Before someone goes to this trouble, though, you should look to see whether mileage tickets are even available at the 25,000 mile level for the days you wish to travel. As the Christmas holiday period is one of the busiest periods of the year, award tickets often go rather quickly (if many are even offered at all) — so it’s entirely likely that the ticket you want isn’t even available.

Why not just buy the extra miles?
To be honest I’m not sure there will be any award seats left at the 25,000 level booking for Xmas a couple of weeks out. You’d probably end up having to redeem for the anytime awards at 50,000 a go.
