US Airways crash question?
WR asked:
I know that everyone got a check for $5,000 to cover lost luggage, but what happened to those who had more then $5,000 worth of luggage on board? If some one had a laptop, camera, ipod, and other electronic items on the plane thats prob close to $5,000 before clothes and other personal stuff. Some may have lost more then that when you take in account personal stuff on their laptops (pictures, business stuff, personal data) that also could have been worth money. I know that any of this stuff was not as important as their lives as I myself would care less about my stuff then getting off the plane safe.

Christian
they lost that $….
airlines are only obligated to give out a certain amount of $ for lost luggage…. for example, my business partner checked his luggage and it got lost and they were only able to give him a measly $1200 for EVERYthing in there
they’ll prolly sue and get $ from the crash in other ways, but for the bags, that’s all they get
